We started using China > Kazakhstan > Caspain Sea > Azerbaijan route as alternative route for heavy and oversized machinery transport from China to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkiye. Within month of may we have dispatched several lots of machines, organizing carriage within China until Khorgos by lowbed trucks and continuing cargo from Khorgos to final destination in Azerbaijan with lowbed trucks or platform vagons. 

We have added another line to our service scope, started tranportation of heavy and oversized machinery from China to Turkiye, Georgia and Azerbaijan. Buldozers, excavators, cranes, trucks, buses and other machinery are delivered door to door from any place in China to any point in Turkiye, Georgia and Azerbaijan using breakbulk vessels and lowbed road carriers.

Another milestone for Marpro Logistics family achieved. We have signed contract with Ministry of Finance and Economics of Authonomous Republic of Ajara for construction of warehouse facility in Batumi Industrial Zone. Warehouse is planned to be functional by the end of 2025 with 2000 m2 closed, 2500 m3 open storage area and 2000 pallet capacity. As custom bonden area warehouse will be serving import, export and transit cargoes.

We are increasing our share in passenger and commercial vehicles transit transport over Georgian ports of Poti and Batumi. This week we have organized transportation of 102 units of Mistubishi Montero and Toyota Hilux cars from Poti port to Ashkabat, Turkmenistan. Cargo was unstuffed from 52x40’ in Poti, loaded onto car carriers and delivered to Baku port. In Baku port we loaded cars into ferry to Turkmenbashi port and oncarriage to Ashkabat from Turkmenbashi port also was done with car carrier trucks.

The role of Georgian ports Poti/Batumi as gateway to Central Asia evolves with each new day and our volume for transit cargoes to Central Asia over Georgia increases in parallel. This week we have handled a sample delivery of 32x20’, 775 ton transit IMO cargo from Poti to Farap, Turkmenistan by cross stuffing cargo from 32x20’ into 12 closed top wagons. Our duties included Poti port operation, wagon provision and railway delivery until Farap station.

Batumi branch of Marpro Logistics Georgia LLC is established. Our Batumi office will handle import, export and transit sea shipments over Batumi port and will serve as operational base for our truck fleet.

This week we have organised another interesting shipment, a Speed Boat from Antalya, Turkiye to Busan, South Korea. We handled precarriage of boat from Antalya to Aliaga port, stuffed onto flat rack container, performed lashing and covering and shipped to Busan.

We expand our truck fleet registered to our Georgia office with new special high volume trucks suitable for carriage of volume cargo such as car tyres, white goods, insulation materials, furniture etc. Currently our truck fleet operates in Turkiye and CIS region including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgizistan and Tajikistan.

1514,5 tons – 55 units of 20’ containers of Prepainted Steel Coils in one lot, heaviest cargo in one lot by containers in 2016 was dispatched from Qingdao port of China towards Poti port of Georgia. In Poti, cargo will be cross stuffed into box wagons by our Poti office and will be delivered to Keshle railway station of Baku, Azerbaijan. 

Marpro Logistika LLC was established with its registered office in Baku, Azerbaijan. We aim to strengthen our position in Azerbaijan market by working closely with our local customers and partners. Baku office will service import and export needs of Azerbaijan customers and provide transit service to Turkiye and Georgia offices as well as will handle Baku port operation for transit cargoes.

After 5 month of uncertainity in Azerbaijan market our shipments of Steel Coils from China to Azerbaijan resumed. The deliveries from China to Poti / Georgia are made in 20” containers, the containers are loaded up to 27 ton each, the Cargo is accepted on FOB basis. The Cargo from containers is transshipped into railcars in Poti, the railcars are loaded up to 69 tons (71 ton in exceptional cases), necessary lashing, securing and covering is performed in Poti. The Cargo is delivered in railcars to Keshle railway station Baku / Azerbaijan, the Cargo is submitted on FOR basis. All operational and payment procedure is performed jointly by our U.A.E. and Georgia Office. All payments to container shipping companies, railway authorities and government authoriries are made directly by our relevant offices.

Our first 4 units of Euro5 trucks have arrived to Poti / Georgia. 1 mega (100m3) and 3 standard (90 m3) trucks will serve Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan markets. Equipped with GPS tracking systems and 7/24 surveillance cameras the trucks will work on export/import as well as transit cargoes using TIR carnet and CEMT/ECMT licenses. All trucks will have CMR Cargo insurance up to 250.000 EUR.

Our first bulk cargo vessel with 2100 tons of Deformed Bar has arrived in Batumi Port.

The Cargo was loaded into dry Cargo vessel in Oktyabrsk port of Ukraine, in Batumi it will be transshipped into railcars with destination to Keshle railway station, Baku / Azerbaijan. The Cargo was accepted on FOB basis and delivery will be made on FOR basis. All operations starting from acceptance of Cargo in Ukrainian port until the delivery to Keshle station are performed by our Poti / Gorgia Office.

Marpro Logicstics Georgia LLC has been established with its registered office in Poti / Georgia.

Our new office will serve as country office for our deliveries to/from Georgia as well as transshipment point for transit cargoes to Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries such as Kazakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgizistan and Tajikistan. Operationally the office will serve our partners in sea, road and railway deliveries.
